This belt acts like the OEM belt in terms of engagement and operating RPMs. Race Proven Performance. 3rd Generation heavy-duty, high-twist Aramid Fiber cord for HIGH HORSEPOWER TENSIL LOAD requirements. Making it the strongest belt on the market, surpassing even our EX and Standstorm lines. Has the highest shock load rating to date being able to withstand the power of 400hp machnies. Increased top cog pressure load design that increases sidewall rigidity, prevents top cog bowing, but still allows for increased rotational flexibility. Bottom Cog uses HIGH MODULOUS RUBBER COMPOUND (BZX 1) for better heat resistance and heat dissipation. Latest bottom cog design for greater rotational efficiency at full shift. Precision ground sidewall angle (SCUFFING) for smooth engagement, increased power transfer and lower operating belt temperature. Aramid Fiber cord, versus polyester, wraps over bottom cogs for increased bottom cog strength.

When they are new it out performs the OEM belt, the engagement is smoother and when it’s warm it pulls like a beast. This is on a can am X3 RR. I don’t think there is a better choice out there for a belt. One thing I’ve found out over the past couple years is, when you service or blow out your clutches, if you can pull the belt off, wash it with a little soap and water, dry it off and reinstall. It helps keep it smooth during engagement. The build up of dirt on the belt basically gets melted into the contact surface during use, so if you can minimize that it will stay smooth and help prolong the life of the belt.

Garbage. I properly broke in the belt with heat cycles driving around the neighborhood in low gear. Went to the dunes. warmed up the belt. Less than ten minutes of reasonable riding the belt "melted" and just cords were left in my clutches. I pulled the cover off, cleaned the melted goo off the clutches. Put the OEM stock belt back on that had 700 miles on it already over the past year. Ran that OEM belt with no issues for the next 6 days in Glamis. Will stick to OEM from now on.
